Congratulations to Emilia Viscarra! She was the winner of the Audience Choice Award for her original play, “Saturday Down South,” at the Young Southern Writers Festival at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.

Emilia is a ninth grader in our creative writing program here at LOA. She has won many prestigious writing awards already. We are thrilled to see where her writing will take her.
